"it's impossible to ignore the meteoric rise that GraphQL has been on in the last year or so. Its benefits are immense yet in the Ember community, it is an niche addon at best, and a joke at worst."https://twitter.com/andrewcallahan/status/992101145907728384 …

If you want to explore GraphQL in your Ember app and figure out how to make it fit in to Ember's convention and stability story, Ember may be for you.
-
JSON:API is not so much the "winner" as the conventional default that comes with Ember. In the long term, Ember Data is the stable core data framework, absorbing good ideas from the wider community as they stabilize.
-
If you value a decent, conventional stack that's here for the long haul, Ember is for you.

First learning ember, I kept getting frustrated by the conventions, only to learn that you had provided a great extensibility model that let me plug in all sorts of non-standard APIs, and I really started appreciating it!
