If you believe that desktop is dead and people are wasting their time thinking about building products optimized for desktop, and you have an app with a different experience on desktop and mobile, how do you feel about killing your desktop experience and focusing all on mobile?
Yeah, I didn't mean to doubt the numbers, just that you'd get a different result if you surveyed office workers, which is a large % of the economy (and the target for a lot of kinds of software). Averages dilute the magnitude and staying power of that user base.

True enough. And if it's not super telling about the numbers, I believe the report was that 12 hours per day were spent on media, and it was like 6 hours was TV. So I know what demographic is skewing this data.
