TIL millions of people get all their news from their curated, influenced, biased Facebook feed. Now it all makes sense. Those idiots (yes, IDIOTS) believe whatever they read and are only being fed things that support their beliefs.
Do you think someone's Facebook feed is notably worse than getting news from friends or their favorite 24 hour news channel?

They're exactly the same. Which is why I source my news from many different viewpoints. I just didn't realize the extent to which others DON'T do this.
-
I don't see the point in calling most people "idiots" (in all caps)
-
Even if they are?

I'm obviously being very cynical here, because I didn't realize until now how many people trust Facebook or CNN or Fox News to be their sole source of information. But I'm not going to pussyfoot around the willfully uninformed masses that want to keep it this way.
-
I don't agree that they're idiots.
-
I'm not sure what else to call folks who (continue to) trust an untrustworthy site to guide their daily lives.
-
It's more like they're trusting their friends.
-
I don't trust my friends to give me unbiased information about *anything*.
