I can't decide if my favorite part of typescript so far is importing and re exporting my own version of styled components to use themes, tslint not working with an array of extensions, or half my deps being untyped.

Theres an onlyCompileBundledFiles option that defaults to false

To be fair I have the same general argument about the typescript compiler itself. As far as I can tell you can’t just point it to an entry point and have just those files in the graph get built.
-
This shouldn't be true as long as your entry point imports the right stuff. The issue Ken's running into is that test files were covered under the same tsconfig, but ts-loader used the tsconfig's file list instead of the entry point. This might help thoughhttps://github.com/TypeStrong/ts-loader#onlycompilebundledfiles-boolean-defaultfalse …

So in the scenario I’m talking about, I’m not in webpack. In a test script I’d like to point at all files matching my test glob while in build I want to point to src/index.ts. All while having my editor understand all of the files & not keeping multiple tsconfigs

Here’s a project of mine where I’m keeping three different config files for dev, and two different build targets. Would love to drop to one.https://github.com/jsonapi-suite/jsorm …
