In case you missed it: My thoughts on AMP's USP's, communicating why AMP is a thing, and the actual end goal.https://medium.com/@pbakaus/less-baffling-jargon-the-pros-and-cons-of-amp-7956af4f87f3 …
I think that your reworded reworded statement removes some of the salient points that the original was trying to make.

In particular, "performance" and "scrolling / URL bar" are both "user experience" concerns. The original statement makes the tradeoffs between them clear. The new statement conflates them both into a single bucket, implicitly assuming that perf > URL bar.

original: costs: "the URL isn’t right, and the scrolling feels unnatural" benefits: "performance" tradeoff: "without compromising on performance" new: costs: same benefits: "an excellent user experience" tradeoff: "without compromising on user experience"pic.twitter.com/8I33Pmxhka

The new wording implies that the costs are not about UX, but of course they are.

thanks for the feedback! there was a copy/paste error from google doc, I actually striked out the scrolling point, because it has been fixed recently (by Apple). So what remains is the URL, and you're right it is also UX. I'll address.
