It seems like there's approximately a 0% chance that the "conspiracy theory" isn't happening based on the fact that ad platforms seem totally fine with this behavior.

Machine learning audio recognition tools are good enough, at this point, to target ads based on conversations people are having, and what have they done to illustrate that *that* would be beyond the pale?
