Admittedly only a few minutes in, but at first blush @reasonml feels a lot like @OCamlLang. For folks who use Reason, what are some of the advantages you like? If you use ocaml, too, what are some differences between them?

I definitely prefer the OCaml syntax (as do some Reason developers, AIUI).

Yeah some people using Reason were fine with or even preferred OCaml’s syntax. My take: my small personal preferences aren’t as important as approachability to the much larger set of people that don’t share my preference. Otherwise, I’d be using an s-expression based syntax.

it's the "syntax doesn't matter, so we'll have good semantics and bad syntax" language, but with good syntax.

Actually, it the 'syntax matters a lot, hence we're going to give OCaml a familiar syntax' language.
