Windows 10. That's where you go from here! Also let's make the dev experience awesome! All we need are more people committed to the platform. The technical gap isn't huge these days, but the attention gap is.

I'd really like to believe this but it's hard when every time someone talks about Windows it feels like the only reason they're using it is for lack of better alternatives. Nobody's genuinely excited about it. "it's actually not that bad!" Is the general feeling I get.

I really enjoy using the same computing environment as 90% of humans using desktops. I also frankly really do enjoy windows. There's a lot of features you don't notice or get right away like decent built in windows manager and the ability to share wifi over the same NIC

Built in annotatable screenshots from the tasks bar is another one I use tons every day. It's easy to focus on losses moving from OSX to Windows but a short experiment with Windows misses a lot of real, durable gains.
