As long as ppl can get over the Zen of Python religion applied dogmatically, Rust and Python are great together. Rust is less dogmatic than those rules (https://blog.rust-lang.org/2017/03/02/lang-ergonomics.html …) but there's a lot to learn from the nuance of the rust perspective.

Yeah I definitely agree that many python devs don't treat ZoP as dogma. It's unfortunately phrased so that people who want to use it unthinkingly can do so (even outside the python community) but that doesn't represent most Python devs.
