If you use Ember or have used it in the past, what would it take for you to feel great about using it for your next new project (and recommending it to your friends for new projects)? Feel free to say "I'd already use it" but be honest :)

Yes. I am fanboy of JSX. I am a big believer in using existing api’s whenever possible vs adding new api’s to a project. I get the arguments for template Lang’s and that my opinion is not scientific. That one is not a hill I am willing to die on.

I totally understand why people love JSX. At very minimum, we need to make HTMLBars capable of participating in JS tooling (there's active work in Ember Language Server but much more to go).

I think the opposite, one of the things that led me to choose ember, is how it separates the html from the js. The way in which I work the templates I like a lot. JSX is not bad, but it seems half tedious.

It takes a real pro leader to make an Ember project work. If I didn't have 1000% confidence in my tech lead, there is no price I would pay for that risk.
