New Years Resolution: when I talk about technologies, I will avoid demeaning the users of those technologies. I will also avoid calling technologies "dead", "dying" or other words meant purely to demoralize users of the technology.

More and more I try to consciously say "I personally don't like it this reason, people might disagree for that reason". Calling something a dying tech is plain hurtful and usually wrong

Yes...having been around for a while I've come to understand that ours is an opinions based industry. If someone says I'm using a dead tech stack...I say meh...my primary concern is solving problems for end users

I understand why it can appear hurtful hence the need for some tact...but we should be free to express what we think...I wish we were generally more tolerant of people of who different perspectives from our own...

My resolution was for myself. People can feel free to express what they thing, and I'll try to express myself in this way. :D
