The thing that really bugs me about the @sama perspective is that it sharply reframes the power dynamics.
Instead of "some people who feel attacked by bigotry are pushing back" we get "the person spewing the bigotry is under attack for 'heresy'"

I think that people who make these arguments are trying to create a oversimplified version of fairness. It is suspicious that this kind of fairness tends to be pitched when people are dehumanizing others.

These people are wasting our time. This perspective isn’t novel and it isn’t worth the time to deconstruct the argument every few weeks.

Confirm. There are a million articles already breaking it down, many of them good. It seems ok for people to want to move on past basic exploration and on to doing things about problems.
