Totally agree. Just saying that
@sama managed to write that it's important that people be able to say "gays are evil" to enable projects like Bitcoin and SpaceX. It's just more evidently ridiculous. His good writing makes the noxious point more obvious. ;) -
He also described it as much more of a direct moral imperative. In large part because in the intervening years Silicon Valley "masters of the universe" have been under increasing attack.
