Agree. Try solving a problem in your regular life with it. Makes it fun *and* useful.

Totally agree. Fun examples: - use Rust to make a CLI tool that scrapes a web service (`github latest-notifications`) - use Rust to turn on and off smart light bulbs in a raspberry pi - use Rust to subscribe to the npm changes feed and collect info
