Picture going up to a local pizza shop and saying, "How will you ever do well if you have no plans to scale to be a national chain?!" That's a lot of tech's attitude toward starting a business, and it's really quite silly when you compare it to other industries

Count me in as someone who's interested in learning more. I hear people talk about these types of operations but feel like information on strategy and mission is scant...at least for a guy like me with no business acumen.

I agree, resources out there are kind of hard to find. I first relied on reading well known stories like Joel on Software and Basecamp, and then was fortunate enough to have many Skype calls with lesser-known bootstrapped entrepreneurs. Feel free to DM me, happy to chat
