Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t there the best of both worlds for webpack? Create-react-app for example has a preconfig webpack file?
Also there is a lot of boilerplate preconfigured webpack files around....
I haven’t really dived into the depth of this but what are these new contenders claiming beyond no config?
Ease of use is important but it feels like the wrong focus. Is setup config really the place that need innovation and competition for bundling? Webpack is the only bundler that takes the entire problem seriously
If we can have the cake and eat it too sure. But I'd much prefer the extra 10min of config once, vs needing to switch bundlers as the project gets more complicated
