I've said this countless times at Mozilla. Announce an intent to do something and you get indifference or stop energy. Build a prototype and you will get great feedback and patches.

I would humbly request that you reflect and do a little writing on being willing to do creative work (with likely flaws and bad ideas, at least early) in public. I'm certain you have progressed to this mindset and people would enjoy hearing about your journey.
