I have repeatedly been at groceries where Android but not Apple was taken. Google Play Music is imo obviously superior to Apple. Play Movies (esp after Movies Anywhere) clearly on par and possibly superior. ChromeCast beats AppleTV easily.
But you're ignoring the much more critical advantage Google has on machine learning: Google Photos is a zillion times better (spoken as a new dad), Assistant is much better than Siri, Google Home actually shipped and has a cheap version.
Yes, those are true, but none of those has $$ attached to it. When I talk about Services, I'm talking about the line item Apple breaks out. Google has some free services that they monetize with my personal data/privacy, but nothing I can pay for and remain anonymous
Goalpost moving.
No, that’s exactly what I meant by services when I first said it, as that’s exactly what Apple calls them in its earnings calls
You were talking to the end consumer. Who doesn't care how Apple breaks down it's Income Statement nor how much profit one company or the other makes from something they use.
If you’re determined to be Right, please have it. And well done!
I don't think that's what's going on here at all. But if we're at an impasse, so be it :)
