Front end software development is: - real-time (instant load, 60fps) - distributed, incremental (synchronize remote data as needed) - asynchronous - reactive (react to user actions in realtime) Front end is the hardest kind of dev I do. The folks who do it every day are heroes.
Yeah I was joking and so was machty. I just think this observation is pretty separate from front end and frankly gets outsized attention from people who don't believe in No Silver Bullet.

I think the way ember helps you deal with state is why I love using it - but it still requires discipline and attention. It helps that we have things like e-c to help with other forms like async state.

I have some cool things I've been working on that I hope will be ready to share w the public in a month or so that continue along the e-c route into making async state more reasonable. Please guilt me if I fail to deliver.

Btw my personal pain comes from helping my team learn ember idioms to make state manageable. If left unchecked it becomes very unwieldy.
