Our refrigerator died, so I am tasked with selecting a new one. The lack of hinge dimensions online is an impediment & requires trip to store to measure. Others at store had same prob. I wonder why @HomeDepot & others don't share this data. It seems like it's viewed as essential.

Hm. Now that you mention it... Do you have an unusually small refrigerator space?
@HM_Krystan how did you deal with this?2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
So ultimately more important than total depth is hinge depth, so that we know how far it's going to stick out into the room since the hinge typically won't fit under the opening.

I think it's probably an oversight. Have you considered having someone from one of the retailers come out and help you choose?

No I haven't considered that. It's not a big deal. I just found it strange that they don't supply this data. If they did in the future, it might help some others. I live 5 min away from a store so not a big deal for me personally

Having recently purchased a fridge, this metric didn't come up. I bet it's an oversight.
