I think "making FP a thing" is not the way to think about this, unless it's conventional wisdom that rtl composition is a failure.

So you think no new FP language should be created without ltr composition a la pipeline?

Far be it from me to tell lang designers what to do :) But I think it's telling that, afaik, many do seem to offer it.

Jfp and Ramda both have ltr composition functions, so maybe that's a place to look in the meanwhile?

I agree with Adam, all languages should have it, and especially functional languages.
