I switched to Windows 18 months ago and continue to be happy. Only complaint is devs gratuitously ignoring windows support.
I wish I had a nice way to dual boot Linux on a laptop. Maybe should try an external drive.

It’s pretty easy on a window based pc. Just need a drive big enough to accommodate it but a terabyte ssd for laptop is only around 300.

Running a Linux distro from USB is a pretty nice middle ground for using Linux these days. You can have persistent and non-persisten systems
