I switched to Windows 18 months ago and continue to be happy. Only complaint is devs gratuitously ignoring windows support.

The more devs like you we get there, the more care it gets. Also for Node.js / Rust development it's already a first-class citizen.

I don't think it's just that. Some communities are militantly anti-windows. Just use path.join people. `${x}/${y}` is not "good enough"

Well... tbh even though I'm on Windows so many years, `${x}/${y}` is one of cases where it's "good enough" IMO :)

They don't compose with verbatim files, which are a common work around for path size restrictions in slightly older Windows.
