I switched to Windows 18 months ago and continue to be happy. Only complaint is devs gratuitously ignoring windows support.

Well... tbh even though I'm on Windows so many years, `${x}/${y}` is one of cases where it's "good enough" IMO :)

Windows supports forward slashes well, so why not.

They don't compose with verbatim files, which are a common work around for path size restrictions in slightly older Windows.

Starting to move to `new URL` and it is quite nice because it handles odd things like remote paths really well
