Google’s Pixel is a popular and (I’m told) excellent device, but it also sells in relatively small quantity (~1-2m vs iPhone 190-205m).

Google also seem to suffer supply constraints *all year round*, which suggests they could never scale production up to iPhone levels.

Conversely, if they *did* scale up production, it’s quite likely demand wouldn’t be there to justify iPhone-levels of manufacture anyway.
