But yea, incremental rehydration is doable and pretty exciting
We're doing it in Glimmer already. I think it changes the calculus on how precise you can be with patch-up. Excited to see React 17!

Hanging on 16.x for a while but 17 will likely have changes to the DOM model/interop to simplify/modernize that code a bit.
