At this point a larger shift is needed. It happens all the time. No one else does it.

It's quite obvious this is systemic at Google. Not saying they're leveraging their monopoly position, but... they do. All the time.

Whether it's systemic for reasons they believe internally or brazen from-the-top makes little difference. The consequences are the same.

FYI from team: "We support the 2 most recent...of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. We send this when user signs in with an old browser."

So this is just a really terribly worded page blocking old browsers which "may very well work, we just haven't done full QA on it."

Then it's still lacking an option to continue nevertheless (would be much more helpful than installing another browser).

Since AdWords == $$$, they aren't comfortable allowing browsers they haven't thoroughly vetted. Not sure I agree, but it's debatable.

So their server only accepts HTTP requests from web clients on their whitelist? You know that isn't how the web is supposed to work, right?

I'm not a fan of the approach but don't assume to have all the context. The patronizing tone is also unnecessary, thanks.

Sorry, just bored of excuses. I think the context is pretty clear.

Honestly, when there are people internally trying to look into things I back way the fuck off. Let them do their work. Cheer them on.

Fair point. Didn't mean to offend, grateful someone is willing to engage with the team to understand their motivations. *Backs the fuck off*
