Upgraded to Firefox 56 and now Tab Center is dead... and Tab Center Redux is so lame. My enthusiasm for Firefox Quantum has dampened a lot.

And... same lame-ness problems as Tab Center Redux. Two tab bars, giant "Tree Style Tab" header.

They're working on the tab-bar-hiding API but it probably won't make 57. You can edit your userChrome.css to hide it manually though. :(

The general idea is that while 57 may not have all the APIs necessary they will be filled in in future releases. Sucks, but not permanent.

Doesn't that mean a mass exodus of users who were sticking around for those features who won't try again for at least a long while?

Possibly. I mean, Tab Center and Tree Style Tab still *work*, just that there's some wasted space.

Sure, same. I mean, I similarly am not happy about the addon situation but ... I'm ok with it for now. Happy it's faster.
