I'm *this close* to holding a company meeting about when we should use 'let' vs 'const'.

That assumes that "always use const" isn't an option, though. I never use "let"--am I missing something?

Where's the cognitive overhead? I do "const unless my editor shows a squiggly from ESLint, else let". Boom done.

And for this insignificant amount of effort I get valuable info when re-reading the code.

If it’s const by default, where’s the mental overhead? It’s var with better semantics. Use let maybe 1% of declarations when need a rebind.
