For those unaware - we're working on UTF8 for unicode internally in PyPy for *both* PyPy2 and PyPy3, we care about users
I'm not a python user, but I was told the migration is going smoothly and people have no good reason to stick to py2 anymore. Wrong?

As far as I understand this is an internal implementation detail, API behavior doesn’t change (other than perf)

Still seems like work to support py2 ("we care about our users") if nobody really has a good reason to stay, no?

noone has a reason, but python 3 has 18% of downloads from pypi. So there are definitely users, we don't care why
