Strong agree. I could imagine including prettier but it assumes something about editors and usage patters. Vue == "incrementally adoptable"
yeah prettier, and style guides/rules in general are definitely *not* something that should/can be incrementally adopted
Right, which makes it a weird default for Vue. We've written enough words now that I suspect this'll be changed fast.
agree. i wouldn't put such things in a boilerplate setup without advertising "strongly opinionated" or something similar
I think one of the problems here is that Vue has two main conceptions of their usage modes—script tag/incremental and webpacker/SFC
and the problem is that muddle the single-file component build process (one of my favorite parts of the library) with the opinionated setup
i think separating that out (showing incremental adoption that also uses pre-built single-file components) would make a lot of sense.
