In a way it feels like the ember team just doesn't care about their legacy ember users and we're gonna have to rewrite our app for glimmer

If we wanted that we'd have dropped Ember and told everyone to switch to Glimmer. Not spent literally years transitioning Ember to it.

Ember the project lives and dies by our ability to support users through long term transitions, slowly but steadily. Nothing has changed.
