Is there any turnkey solution at all for dual-booting Windows and Linux?
So basically: install a second hard drive, use the normal BIOS to switch to the other one, the end?

Yes. As bonus, it’s possible to set up VirtualBox such that the drive not booted on hardware can be booted in a VM.

(I’ve only used a Linux drive so that it can boot both on metal and in VirtualBox on top of Windows. Dunno if reverse actually works.)
