Yes, but where is the advocacy? In 2013, @tomdale did endless talks about the value of Ember Router. Lots of people were inspired by that

This is *exactly* why I originally got into Ember. Seeing core team members speaking passionately for good software practices in public

I think you're gonna like what I've got lined up.

Also seems silly to say no advocacy, cf. https://tomdale.net/2017/04/making-the-jump/ …. Our thesis is that competitiveness requires a compiler.

From my perspective, the only difference is maybe the advocacy is a bit less strident as I've gotten older. 😉

It should be just your job to advocate for Ember. There are lots of people who could do the same with some prep.

Disagree. @tomdale and @wycats should be focusing on tomorrow's problems. Advocacy can come from anyone, core team has more clout though.

That's pretty much what happened over last 3 years and we have the outcome.

Continue to push the values of the framework outside of the ember community. Education general masses on values that are driving the frwk

https://allthingsopen.org/talk/emberjs-glimmer/ … (should fix that abstract coming soon!) Are you saying I should give me talks? Or that the talks aren't right?

Contextual talks to groups that will be receptive to the message. Ex: are architects with reasons why they should choose Ember for their org

I give this talk but within my company. It's a learned skill and takes time. It's worth it. Also: absence from HN isn't a bad thing.
