That's all fine. But unlike standards, non-Googlers have had no say in whether the entire project exists, high-level vision, etc.

Its an application of the extensible web. We also participate in web standards which is independent.

Ember requires the BDFLs and core team to go through the same RFC process and get the same level of consensus as anyone else.

We have not participated in each others processes. My team certainly thoroughly lives the public consensus process.

But it doesn't apply to the most critical aspect of the project: its use on Google Search. Fixable? Or is the shell game intentional?
