There's a cost to pushing innovation just for it's own sake. It produces shit tons of bad ideas. Innovation is a means, not an end.

Yes there is value in generating new good ideas by thinking outside the box. But I think we're incentivized to *ship* bad ideas.

Your choices are to ship a mediocre or even bad idea or begin to lose mindshare as the hot takes start showing up that you're "stagnating".
