Many of the same people who were complaining about cable bundling a few years ago are now complaining about too many streaming services.

Are people really finding that streaming costs more than a cable bundle? For me, it's about 30% what I used to pay.

I saw a lot of emo when Disney announced they were pulling away from Netflix. The great unbundling yo.
-
Aha. Not my demographic yet ;)
-
People also aren't loving CBS All Access.
-
I don't watch CBS, but yeah, TV is one place where a monolith really shines. In other news I'm _really_ eager for Archer S8 to come to Hulu.
-
Another casualty of the great microservices delusion?
-
Oh no - I never ever was. Ha!

Isn't multiple streaming services basically the same issue as cable bundles? I want one show from each bundle/service, but have to pay 4 all
-
You can easily buy individual episodes of almost anything from Amazon or other services for $2. Season passes for ~$15.
-
I'm following now. I was thinking Netflix and other sub services.

When people said they wanted a la carte they meant by the show. Not the network. Don’t conflate the two.

I predicted a couple years ago that there would be a new service that would come package up & resell streaming services. :)

A little bit niche, but that’s exactly what
