I did C++ professionally for years, so I hear you. It takes years of study to write good C++. With Rust, it takes a fraction of the time.

It's not magic, but the combination of preventing common classes of errors + having a repo of modules anyone can use is a productivity boost

I agree with the modules part for beginners. So much easier than including header files or linking the right library

As a non-beginner, I find crates.io to continue to provide a lot of value.
