Edge doesn't support CSS transforms on SVG elements: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/1173754/ … ? What gives @boggydigital @cssrossen @patrickkettner?
What about new features (or perf improvements) that will improve the lives of people already using SVG?

Yes, there I agree with you. Browsers not wanting to invest in new things in areas developers want is a real conflict worthy of debate.

Very timely: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/msg/Blink-dev/5FJECicml1o/Oinr6U_JBgAJ … FWIW Xida works on my team, though TBH I wasn't specifically aware of this project but I support it!

Also I love the new charter proposal: https://www.w3.org/2017/04/svg-acreview-2017.html …. Interop & testing first, THEN features with implementation support.

Very happy to see my ideas finally sinking with people - Let's do this Rick! ;)

Here's our policy on web-platform-tests for all new features in blink: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vlTlsQKThwaX0-lj_iZbVTzyqY7LioqERU8DK3u3XjI/edit#bookmark=id.w8j30a6lypz0 …. Does Edge have something similar?
-
Yeah I'm aware of these docs and I think they're great. AFAIK we don't have equivalent besides what we push to Edge platform status.

IMHO CSSWG testing policy won't mean much until implementations block shipping on passing shared tests. What would that take for your team?
