Misstep to put AMP cache on http://google.com . Mechanisms should have existed (do they now?) to make sharing the non-AMP URL default.
1. it sure is. They claim chrome is empirically "faster". Not true for safari. Not even close. 2. Why was MS behavior in the 90s immoral?

1. Text says "fast" not "faster". 2. I don't remember enough of the specifics to comment. The 90s was so long ago (I'm *so* old).

I'm not intending to dismiss your point, and I can see that we disagree, which is ok! Google needs to be very careful of these things.
-
The problem I'm calling out is Google using its monopoly search position to help prop up new products (chrome).
-
It used to say "faster" but how is a regular person supposed to interpret it?
-
I don't mean to just go round and round on Twitter. I'm still finding this convo productive

-
Been productive for me as well, but I've gotta get back to work. Happy to continue in person if you find yourself in the bay area. :)
-
No problem and apologies for consuming your time. I'll be in the Bay area within a few months :)
