Counter caches might be an interesting thing to try to detect. What did we show you that made you realize that fix would help that page?

I think these where N+1's too, but harder/impossible to eager-load due to the way things are structured (using ancestry gem)

Eager loading would lead to unnecessarily high memory usage too (number of allocations) when all I need are association counts.
