Other than angular, what's an example of a developer ecosystem Google created on purpose very successfully relative to its peers.
That's a pretty weird success metric. I think golang *wanted* to be very general purpose and ended up very niche.

Also I would say Apple also has trouble making successful software ecosystems. They just have more leverage.

I think "widely used software outside of your control is written in your language" is a reasonable metric.

Are people using swift for things that aren't locked-in to Apple? If people only used Go to write Android apps, I'd say the same thing.
