Other than angular, what's an example of a developer ecosystem Google created on purpose very successfully relative to its peers.

If you're only looking for examples on the level of Java-popular you're only going to find 1 or 2 for *any* company. Lightning in a bottle.
-
Hm I don't think so. I consider small projects like Ember or Julia to have successful ecosystems, and golang to be on the cusp.

Perhaps, I'm seeing it used in prod for more things, but that might be personal experience.
-
Although even if it's popular for specific kind of tasks, it doesn't make it unfit for your original question I guess?
-
I think I'd agree that there's a small, infra ecosystem around golang. Definitely short of aspirations though.
-
What is openly shared on GitHub is just part of the ecosystem. Limitation of popularity contests.
-
What's a good way to get a sense for these other parts of the ecosystems?
-
Amount of package downloads is limited way (at least for Go) since the package distribution is so messed up at the moment.
-
Maybe amount of tech conversations? Clearly no easy answer.

-
Would help if Google etc. told a bit more about how much of Go code they have overall. But yeah, less than many expect. Most likely.
