What exactly do you mean by spam? We're a little more limited in how we are able to show them, but you shouldn't get more notifications.

I think it should be possible to reuse the same tag and always show one notifications as native app does. I believe

Somehow it works better with the native app. I don't know the exact details but would be happy to dig in.
