Does somebody actually think so? I rather think that Slack caused the biz world to move to chat, whereas OSS resided there already for long.

I think different people can have very different experience, and it’s very easy to incorrectly generalize from one’s own experience.

I think that's plausible, but I'd think the basic structure of OSS eras is well-known by OSS leaders? If not, might be a good blog post!
