      Do you store ALL the state in one root component? What about callbacks?

      I store it as high only as it needs to be. Callbacks go w/ the data if it can be changed.

      I think these use-cases always come down to people being freaked out about context, so they reach for globals instead.

      the React docs themselves say not to use context to avoid deep flow props: for app theme-type stuff only
