I hear "convention over configuration" is now spelled "preset" except that presets are cool and conventions are still "too much magic"

the difference I see: “presets” can be swapped out, “conventions” are usually hard coded.

I would say both. For example resolver started as a convention but is a preset now.

how are presets different from DI? how is flux different from MVC, MVVM or MVP? At minimum, people should cite prior art more. 4/4
