How I remember python's syntax: "what's the cutest way someone could have done this?"
there should be one way to do it: funcs and lambdas, oldstyle vs newstyle class, statements vs expressions

beautiful is better than ugly: def __init__(self), super(ThisClass, self).func(args)

and the fact that some things were fixed in py3 doesn't help. They were done in py2 despite the moral exhortations.

at a minimum, it'd be great if python people had a bit more humility about Zen and didn't use it to finger wag other langs.
