I mean, not very. And to the extent it is, a little more emphasis now that he's actually president seems warranted to me.
I'm amazed you're saying this. It doesn't take a conspiracy theory to have noticed Assange's tweets re Hillary had a diff tone
You're conflating tone with content. I agree their feed was much more negative re Hillary.
OK I think we agree now. I think the tone has an effect on what is reported.
Sure, but so do media biases, which are reflexively anti-Wikileaks & thus get a lot of facts wrong.
it's not hard to be anti-Wikileaks.
Sure. It's also not that hard to get facts right & to note that they've often been a force for good.
the scale is tipping.
WikiLeaks wasn't an impartial actor. They were "we report, you decide" a la Fox News. https://twitter.com/KFILE/status/775110996071424001 …
There are perfectly reasonable criticisms of Wikileaks. That they didn't ask for Trump's returns before today isn't one.
"there are perfectly legitimate criticisms of ____" is a brush off template ;)
I mean, if you make a legit one I'll agree with it. But the idea that this call for Trump's returns is new is just false.
critique: as an organization that claims to be impartially reporting leaked facts, they sure were nasty on Twitter.
I think that's a very fair one!
I think it's fair to point out WikiLeaks asked for tax returns, but I read the tweet as "OK sure if you have something..."
rather than a true hunger to get anything negative at all about trump.
just a tad.. shit
