I've never used JSX. So I can't be a fan of it. But I'm not ready to discard it out of hand because it draws different boundaries.

thing that bugs me is JSX doesn't prevent the kind of separation they mean, & in my experience can even facilitate it

like the idea that you have to use separate files or separate languages to separate view from business logic is…facile
